Ladies Choice Stun Gun for Women Saves 16 Year Old Girl

Maryland State Police are investigating an attempted kidnapping of a teenage girl in Frederick County.  The victim’s mother, Patricia Heffner, claims that the “Ladies Choice” stun gun for women may have saved her Daughter’s life.

The incident occurred at around 4:30 pm on Monday.  The 800 block of Knoxville Road was where she was targeted. The 16 year old was walking to her friend’s house after school. Heffner stated that a small black car pulled up beside her daughter offering a ride.  She believed it to be her friend’s father at first. However, upon entering the car, she realized that the driver was a stranger.

Sexual Advances

The driver made sexual comments and advances towards the victim. however, she was quick to pull out the electroshock self defense stun gun for women. By activating its alarm and stunning the drivers shoulder she was able to escape from the scene

The Maryland State Police released a description of the suspect, who they believe attempted to kidnap and sexually assault the teenager. They described him as a bald, white man in his fifties, standing between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9, with brown eyes, a medium to heavy build, pale complexion, a mustache, and a mole on the right side of his face. The suspect was believed to be driving a small car, possibly a minivan.

The B.O.L.O

Local merchants reported that the area was canvassed by detectives in search of security footage. However, the police have not yet released any images.

Heffner purchased the stun gun for women for her daughter. She is relieved that it was so helpful in this situation. Although Maryland law prohibits people under 18 from possessing stun devices, Heffner stated that the police did not question her about the device.
